WHAT IS A WOMAN ON THE MOVE?

Women On The Move’s 3rd Annual School Tour began on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at New York University in tribute to Women’s History Month. A panel of successful career women in the fields of music, fashion, finance, entertainment, public relations, and more gathered for NYU students, press, and special invited guests.


The panelists for the evening’s seminar included:

· Jazzy Joyce: Professional DJ

The ladies shared their individual career stories, along with some of the challenges they faced and overcame. They offered the students inspirational words of encouragement. The panelists provided insight and awareness to the students regarding the vast career opportunities available to them. With bright eyes and inquisitive minds, the questions and answer segment had to be the highlight of the seminar as students asked the panelists questions and shared some of their hopes and dreams for the future. This provided students an opportune platform to interact with the panelists while taking pictures and enjoying give a ways for their participation.


Women On The Move will continue to encourage the youth to set goals, create plans to execute and ascertain those goals, becoming successful members of society.
