Women On The Move’s 3rd Annual School Tour began on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at New York University in tribute to Women’s History Month. A panel of successful career women in the fields of music, fashion, finance, entertainment, public relations, and more gathered for NYU students, press, and special invited guests.


The panelists for the evening’s seminar included:

The ladies shared their individual career stories, along with some of the challenges they faced and overcame. They offered the students inspirational words of encouragement. The panelists provided insight and awareness to the students regarding the vast career opportunities available to them. With bright eyes and inquisitive minds, the questions and answer segment had to be the highlight of the seminar as students asked the panelists questions and shared some of their hopes and dreams for the future. This provided students an opportune platform to interact with the panelists while taking pictures and enjoying give a ways for their participation.


Women On The Move will continue to encourage the youth to set goals, create plans to execute and ascertain those goals, becoming successful members of society.

Christian Siriano - 5th Avenue Spotting!

Christian Siriano's collection can soon be spotted at Sak 5th Avenue's new in-store boutique for up-and-coming designers. Great feat for the designer many followed and love from Project Runway!

New York Magazine reports:

On top of the new Saks account, Christian just extended his deal with Moody Mammas maternity line, and will design a fall collection for the West Coast–based label (you'll find that line at Nordstrom and specialty stores around the country). He also just signed on to design costumes for the movie Eloise in Paris, starring Uma Thurman, about a woman who goes to Paris for Fashion Week and winds up chasing after a stolen dress.

As the newest acquisition, Larry Hughes has been putting in work with the New York Knicks and last night was given the chance to celebrate at NYC's star-studded Citrine.

Hughes most recently scored a high 39 points last Wednesday earning the franchise's faith, with recently being traded in February to the world famous Knicks.

The "welcome to NY" event was hosted by Good Girl PR* in collaboration with Rhythm Liquor and Starpower Marketing. DJ Kut completed a perfect night with the right tunes to set the crowd in a great mood!
